On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 8:30 p.m., the Cinema Teatro Palladio in Cesuna di Roana will host a new and eagerly awaited appointment in the Aperitivo con l'autore by Brazzale review, with the participation of Alberto Pellai and Barbara Tamborini.
The two authors, also a couple in life, will present their books "Allenare alla vita" and "Ragazza mia - Lettera alle donne libere di domani" in an intense and current dialogue on education, growth and relationships.
- In the essay Allenare alla vita (ed. Mondadori), Alberto Pellai, doctor and psychotherapist of the developmental age, faces the great challenges of being parents today with lucidity and concreteness. Ten unpublished reflections lead the reader to recognize the urgency of recovering an authoritative and conscious parental role, in a society profoundly transformed by digital culture and the educational crisis. The book offers practical tools to help children become responsible adults, capable of facing the complexity of life without getting lost.
- Ragazza mia (ed. De Agostini), written by Barbara Tamborini, psychopedagogist and author of several texts on the developmental age, is an emotional letter addressed to all adolescents (and not only), an invitation to awareness and freedom, to learn to know oneself, accept oneself, love oneself and grow up in a world full of pressures, insecurities and unattainable models. The volume also collects the authentic voices of girls and boys, creating a generational dialogue that accompanies young people on the path towards emancipation and the construction of a free and authentic identity.

Alberto Pellai (1964) is a physician, developmental psychotherapist and researcher at the Department of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Milan. In 2004 the Ministry of Health awarded him the silver medal for merit in Public Health.
He is the author of many bestsellers on parenting and psychology, including Everything too soon, The age of the tsunami, The happy family method. At Mondadori he has published From man to father (2019), Life happens (2022) and, together with Barbara Tamborini, Zitta! (2018), The compass of emotions (2019), Tabù (2020), Turning on the dark, dominating the volcano (2021) and Belonging (2023).
His books have been translated in more than fifteen countries and have won numerous awards.
Since 2010 he has edited the weekly column "Being parents" in Famiglia Cristiana.
On Facebook, he runs a page dedicated to education advice followed by over 140,000 followers, while on Instagram he is followed by over 40,000 people.
Barbara Tamborini, psychopedagogist and author of several texts on the developmental age, won the City of Como International Literature Prize in 2020. She conducts educational workshops in schools of all levels and holds training courses for teachers and parents.
She has written numerous books for children and adolescents and, together with Alberto Pellai, is co-author of appreciated volumes on psychology and parenting, translated in various countries, such as The Age of the Tsunami, The Happy Family Method, First Kiss, Amare. Together they also signed the television series The things that... No one has the courage to tell you before the age of 10.
Barbara and Alberto, also united in private life, are parents of four children: Jacopo, Alice, Pietro and Caterina.
