International Conference "MINERVA. universities and the great war ", July 29-31 in Asiago, 2016
From 29 to July 31, 2016, the Teatro Eliseo di Asiago will host the International Conference "MINERVA. Universities and the great war".
Three days dedicated to the history and culture, which will invoke leading scholars from all over Italy and beyond.
CISUI
The Interuniversity Centre for the history of Italian universities (Cisui) was created in 1996 by a group of scholars from the Universities of Bologna, Padua, Messina and Sassari with intent to increase research activity in the field of historiography. The Cisui was proposed, since its Foundation, as a structure for coordination between the various institutes and centres working in the field of University history at various universities.
In recent years membership grew and today at Cisui includes scholars from 25 universities (Bari, Bologna, Chieti-Pescara, Ferrara, Macerata, Messina, Milan, Milan Commerciale "l. Bocconi", Milan Polytechnic, Modena, Naples Seconda Università, Padova, Parma, Pavia, Perugia, Pisa, Pisa, Scuola Normale Superiore, Roma Tor Vergata, Sassari, Siena Foreigners, Turin, Trento, Venice Ca ' Foscari, Verona, Viterbo Tuscia University).
The Cisui is hosted at the University of Bologna (historical Archive Service Centre); its activities are coordinated by a junta, a Management Board and a Scientific Committee.
