INTO THE WILD

Is a 2007 drama film written and directed by Sean Penn, based on the book by Jon Krakauer In extreme lands, which told the true story of Christopher McCandless, a young from West Virginia that immediately after graduation he abandons the family and embarks on a long journey by two years through the United States, until it reaches the boundless lands of Alaska.
The protagonist of the film is the Californian actor Emile Hirsch, who for his dramatic portrayal won the award for best actor by the National Board of Review.
