"The Colors of Stars" - Spectroscopy Laboratory at Asiago Observatory - [DATA_MEDIA]]

Activities for children and adults at the Asiago Astrophysical Observatory

[DATA_LUNGA]] , theAsiago Observatory organizes the laboratory"The Colors of the Stars".
The meeting will begin at 18:00,at the headquarters of the Pennar.

It is an exciting spectroscopy laboratory, suitable for children and adults,during which it will be explained how the study of stars through their rainbows takes place, using lamps of various types and breaking down the colors with special glasses.

On this occasion, theobservation of comet C/2017 T2will also be carried out.

After the laboratory, there will also be a guided tour of the MUSA (Museum ofInstruments of Astronomy ), where the disused astronomical instruments of the Asiago Observatory are stored.

Information

Participants will be provided with special goggles for viewing the spectrum of any light source, excluding the Sun.

Tickets

Tickets: full 10 euros; reduced 5 euros.
Reduced price for each visit after the first.

Reduced ticket for children up to 12 years old, students and employees Inaf and UNIPD.

For groups of at least 15 people you can schedule other meetings. Wear heavy clothing and front light.
All appointments will be held in the Pennar station, via Observatory 8, Asiago.
The Galileo telescope will not be visited at the astrotombola appointment.
