Non-competitive FIASP walk on routes from 3-5-10-18 km
Sunday, July 21, 2019 the now traditional March "La Galliota", organized By the Punto Sport Team of Gallium, back on theplateau of Asiago to excite and entertain sports-and not-of all ages!
Gallio 's non-competitive March returns after the success of the past years with an even more exciting edition, with new routes and the Inevitable gastronomic stand of the Alpini group Gallio.
The recreational motor event includes 4 routes, respectively of 3-5-10 and 18 km with Departure and arrival at Piazzetta Giardini, next to the town hall of Gallio.
The departure is fixed from 7.30 hours to 9.30 and the itineraries are practicable until 14.00, with refreshment points all along the route.
During the presentation of the first edition, which was held on July 24, 2016, the organizer Finco Pino said: "Thereis no stopwatch and there is no competition, we privilege and emphasize aspects such as the relationship with nature, socialization and The cultural enrichment of the participants... "
In fact, the paths of Galliota give unforgettable sensations when the gaze falls far to the horizon and the magic of flora and fauna are the boundary. Attention: The path in some sections could be rough, but the runner pays attention and adjusts the step to the nature of the route. It is compulsory for the runner to comply with the rules of the road Code and in particular Article 190.

THE EARLY Departure does NOT guarantee THE SERVICES March. Although not covered by this programme, the rules of the Organic regulation of FIASP-IW events are valid.
THE ROUTES
The 3Km Route is an easy panoramic walk for all those who have children in pushchairs, wheelchair disabled or with reduced mobility.
The short 5km path follows the municipal road that descends gently towards The Ronchi Valley and crosses the homonymous contrada and then goes back to a Suggestive Route towards the Covola , admiring the area of the mills. The valley, which accuses a particular geology, is one of the few active sources of the plateau. It takes its name from the presence of a series of water mills and factories, which have made in the past of the valley the first proto-industrial settlement already in the Middle Ages. The water of the spring was duly channeled in order to run at the same time eight wheels to grind wheat and barley and to crush the bark of the white spruces (in Cimbro "Tanna") in order to obtain the "tannin", which was used in Tanning of skins.
The 10km medium distance path goes along the municipal road the Sisemol Mountain (Perch) to admire from the summit a wonderful panorama at 360 ° on the municipalities of the plateau to the west and Mount Valbella to the south. Then we descend towards Laben and we reach eastwards, along a forest Road, Casara Stenfele , from which you can notice northwards the valley of the Stuba dividing the Ongara mountain on the left from the Gallio Melette on the right and then down towards the Bertigatal and the Ronchi Valley. From here we walk the same final stretch of the short path admiring the Mills area until the arrival.
The long path from 18km mirrors in the initial phase that from 10km and diverting to The Contrada Laben to the south you Pass in front of Malga Ronco di Carbon to climb Mount Valbella Mt. 1314. Upon reaching the top we can find a sacred area, with Cippo, altar and cross to remember the Bersaglieri fallen in these mountains. Now we descend south between meadows and pastures on the old ski slope with the forest that alternates beech and fir to reach the dirt road that leaves Casara Melaghetto on the left and we arrive at the particular monument made to pyramid in honor of Captain Eugenio Nicolai who lost his life here during the first Battle of the "Tre Monti". We continue our route on a forest road to the Contrada Zaibena where we will take the municipal road To Reach Stoccaredo and then after a few kilometers the Valley floor with the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Buso so dear to the people of gallium. We then cross the Val Frenzela along the roadway made in the second half of 1300 until The Ronchi District and follow the last stretch of trail to the area of the mills as described for the minor routes.
