The event par excellence dedicated to the tasting and discovery of malga cheeses, now in its eleventh edition, will animate the historic center of Asiago with the market exhibition, as well as masterclasses, guided workshops with cheeses and extreme wines, artisan workshops, excursions in the mountain hutscultural meetings and themed film screenings.

In addition, in the mountain Osteria, in Piazza Carli, dishes will be offered with Asiago DOP and tradition, and the Mountain Beer Festival will offer craft mountain beers.

The tasting offers an unprecedented comparison of high altitude Asiago Dop wine and cheese, both the result of agricultural work defined, rightly, "heroic" for the impervious conditions to which the production activity is subjected. High altitudes or steep slopes often make it impossible to mechanize any process and therefore every operation for the cultivation of grapes or for the breeding of dairy animals, can only be carried out by hand.
    Wines for tasting:
Voskì 2016 ZORAH - Armenia. Voskì is a white wine produced in Armenia, at 1,400 m., from ancient native varieties: Voskèak and Garandmak. Archaeological evidence testifies to the presence on the territory for millennia.
Keten Gömlek 2016 Gelveri Manufactur - Turkey. Keten Gomlek by Gelveri Manufactur is an intense and visceral macerated white wine. Full-bodied and intimate, it slowly reveals vegetal and smoky traits. Pressing, spontaneous fermentation and maceration in whole bunches for 6 months in Kups (Turkish amphorae). Racking and aging in the same for 5 months. The winery is located in central Anatolia on a plateau at 1500 m., at the foot of the Hasan Dag Volcano.
Camins del Priorat 2021 Alvaro Palacios Gratallops - Catalonia Spain. Considered one of the greatest winemakers in the world, Alvaro Palacios is credited with revealing the exceptional terroir of Priorat. The vines are planted in terraces on very steep slopes at altitudes between 350 and 700 m.
Antes Andes Valles Calchaquies 2015 Bodega - Matervini Argentina. Malbec 100% The grapes grow at an incredible altitude of 2400 m on an ancient soil of volcanic basalt, granite and sand, which guarantees exceptional drainage.
