On Thursday, July 17, 2025, the Gallio Tourist Office invites you to participate in the guided excursion "Malga Lemerle and a look at Monte Fior", a historical-naturalistic itinerary proposed by Alexplora.
Accompanying the participants will be Alex, a graduate in history and a regularly qualified tourist and environmental hiking guide, who along the way will offer insights into both historical and naturalistic insights.
The route will run for about 7 km, starting at 9:30 am, and will lead participants to Malga Lemerle, located in the northernmost part of the Melette di Gallio, at an altitude of 1650 meters. From here, the gaze will go to Monte Fior, the scene of harsh clashes during the First World War, and characterized by the presence of many war remains, but also by the fascinating rock formations that have earned it the name of "City of Rock".
An opportunity to immerse yourself in the highland landscape and its silences full of memory, walking through history, nature and high-altitude landscapes.
