Evening at the Astronomical Observatory of Asiago to the discovery of the planets Mars and Saturn
Tuesday, July 19, 2016 theAsiago Observatory hosts the evening "Mars and Saturn: two gems in Scorpio". This is a themed activities and remote observation of the planets Mars and Saturn beginning at 21.00 and duration massumo of 90 minutes. In case of clear skies will see the planets with the Schmidttelescope.
Saturn, in order of distance from the Sun, is the sixth planet in the solar system, and is the second most massive planet: only Jupiter is bigger. Its spectacular lies in its rings of dust and gas that orbits.
Mars, on the other hand, is called "Red Planet" for the amount of iron oxide that covers it. Is the fourth planet in order of distance from the Sun and the last planet Earth after mercury, Venus and Earth.
