Children's meeting "Rosetta, chasing a comet" at the Asiago Observatory, July 13, 2016

On July 13, 2016 theAsiago Astrophysical Observatory will devote the afternoon to children, with the meeting "Rosetta, chasing a comet".

The meeting is aimed at children from 6 to 11 years and will tell the adventurous journey of the space probe Rosetta through of cartoons from the European Space Agency.

In addition, at the end of the visit, the kids will have a blast to attend the launch of a small rocket in baking soda and vinegar.

The program also includes a quick visit to the telescope Galileo.

Maximum duration of the meeting: 1 hour.

Children must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years of age.

What is the mission Rosetta?

Rosetta is a space mission developed by theEuropean Space Agency and launched in 2004. The objective of the mission is, after a change due to the postponement of the launch, to study the comet 67 p/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, a periodic comet in our solar system.
