Children's meeting "Rosetta, chasing a comet" at the Asiago Observatory
Wednesday, August 17, 2016 theAsiago Observatory (sede Pennar) will devote the afternoon to children, with the laboratory "Rosetta, chasing a comet".
This is a meeting designed for children from 6 to 11 years, chronicling the adventurous journey of the space probe Rosetta through of cartoons from the European Space Agency.
At the end of the visit, there will also be a little surprise for the kids: the Observatory experts, in fact, will explode in the air a small rocket in baking soda and vinegar!
Maximum duration of the meeting: 1 hour.
Children must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years of age.

What is the mission Rosetta?
Rosetta is a space mission developed by theEuropean Space Agency and launched in 2004. The objective of the mission is, after a change due to the postponement of the launch, to study the comet 67 p/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, a periodic comet in our solar system.
