The appointments of the exhibition"Aperitif with theAuthor" continue, organized by the Library Giunti at the Point.

On Sunday, August 18, 2019,it will be the turn of the author Enrico Galiano,who will present his book "Stronger thananyfarewell", at the Central Stage located in Piazza II Risorgimento,in Asiago,starting 5:30 p.m.

Federica Crestani will be a moderator, interviewing the author in this meeting in the name of culture dedicated to all passionate readers.

In case of bad weather the meeting will be held at the Board room

STRONGER THAN ANY FAREWELL

It's important to say what it feels like, always. It's important to say it at the right time. Because once we're past, we may never find the courage to do it again. That's what Michele and Nina discover when they meet on the train that takes them to school, in their senior year of high school. Nina knows that the wind gusts of life can be too strong for a delicate orchid like her: she has to protect herself and that's why she squeezes between her fingers the necklace that her father gave her. For Michele, the colors, the words, the gestures that surround him have a taste always different from the day when, five years before, he lost his sight. When he gets on the train and smells Nina, something happens inside him: he doesn't know what it is, but he feels that he is calling it. Every day, during their short journey together, in an endless succession of questions and answers, they bring out the same sense of bewilderment in each other. Michele teaches Nina not to stop marveling every day. Nina teaches Michele not to have any regrets, that we must always give the hug and the kiss that we want to give, say the words that we can not wait to pronounce. But it is Nina, when an obstacle threatens to divide them, who chooses not to say anything. Faced with the perfect moment, the one in which to confess that you are falling in love, remains firm. Let him slip. Nina and Michele will have to fight to learn to grasp the moment that flies away fast, like life, years, the future. They're going to have to grow up, but they're not going to forget the magic of being two guys full of dreams.
