THE AUSTRIANS ON THE FRONT OF THE HIGHLANDS

Through the memories of a soldier of the 14th Hessen Regiment, for the first time translated into Italian, the events that saw this department protagonist on the fronts of the Venetian and Trentino highlands are reconstructed. The result is a narrative that brings to light a different point of view, that of the enemy of that time, but above all a picture of events that benefits from a new overview, completing the historical analysis with diaries and chronicles coming from the opposite trenches. The volume is completed by the new photo album by an officer of the 14th Hessen who, step by step, combines the narration with the evocative force of the images.
