Aperitif with the author Camillo Langone in collaboration with the library Giunti Al Punto di Asiago
Friday, September 6, 2019 ends the exhibition "Aperitivowith theAuthor" organized by the Library Giunti at the Point of Asiago with the presentation of the book "My ExtremeWines" by Camillo Langone.
The meeting will begin at 5.30pm,at the Central Stage located in Piazza II Risorgimento,in the center of Asiago.
Roberto Brazzalemoderated the meeting.

In the eyes of a heterodox devotee like Camillo Langone, today's amateur taster has as its only (harmful) interest the "transparency" of labels and the "honesty" of biological certifications. He continues to approach the drink that connects God and men like a sleepwalker, unaware of what legacy is dissipating between the fake Bordeaux and the "wood juices" of barrique wines, the ubiquitous Chardonnay and the useless fairs with names Anglophone. Against the flattening of the palate and the pervasiveness of foreign crus, in this excursus between the products and the protagonists of the most human and noble of cultures, Langone is part of the tradition of Soldiers and Monelli, writers lent to the story of tradition Italian wine and landscape, telling the geography of the country with the religious respect of the lover, insufferable to the myth of the god Bio, in the knowledge that "the only natural wine is vinegar". He thus draws a geography of Italy eccentric and "peculiarist", in which next to some famous wineries there are stories of very rare wines and exemplary men, native to paroxysm, where the concise and sharp language of the author gives meaning to the world from the globalized flavor of 'wine instagrammers'.
