THE GREAT WAR IN PLATEAU
The Plateau Guides offer historical-naturalistic excursion Monte Cengio, Asiago plateau, Saturday- EVENING August 2, 2015
This tour is ideal for those who want to combine a little challenging route with a visit to a place of high historical value, situated in a location from which you can admire one of the most beautiful landscapes of the entire plateau.
The hike is considered easy, even walking from inexperienced walkers.
The Trail extends along the southwest side of the Massif, dug for long stretches in the rock and in some places using galleries, for about 4 km, allowing you to get to the top of 1347.
The vertical drop of 150 meters seems not to be heard, as many points of historical interest (trenches, tunnels and artillery, in addition to the famous leap of grenadiers) pleasant and stops in case of warm days in the Gallery steps allow you to cool off.
The final part of Astico Valley and on the back of plain which offers all the way takes your breath away.

The Association "Plateau" first Association of guides of the plateau, consists of local guides that operate on the territory of the plateau of the seven Municipalities from 2008. Membership in place by Assembly components ensures an intimate knowledge of the proposals and a deeply respectful approach towards the environment and its history. Our guides are mountain professionals recognized and entered in the register of the Vicenza province; they propose to accompany groups of people hiking and guided visits in the territory, as required by L.R. n. 33 of 11/4/2002 and according to the laws of albi professional fan part.
