Seminario musicale "Dettagli di vita quotidiana"" Music seminar Details of everyday life " to Asiago, 24 May 2013

TheAMA, Asiago Plateau Music Association, is pleased to invite you to the seminar held by Alberto Rocca at the aula magna of the Elementary Schools of Asiago.

In this meeting you will have the opportunity to address ' a report on some aspects of avant-garde music and figurative, in particular over the past 30 years.

Topics covered will be mainly the Poetics of detail, music as a process, the newspaper in music, new vocals and public participation in the completion of ' musical work.

Scans of works following composers: John Cage, Arvo Part, Steve Reich, Philip Glass, Ami Denio, Terry Riley, Meredith Monk, John Zorn, Michael Nyman and the following figurative artists: Victor Vasarely, Robert Rauschenberg, Andy Warhol, Alexander Calder, Sol LeWitt, Julian Opie, Francis Bacon, Alfred Leslie and Jeff Koons.

Admission is free for members and their families; non-' to all Association requests a ' donation.

The seminar will begin at 20.30.

Alberto La Rocca was born in Thiene (VI) in 1967. Graduated in guitar at the Conservatorio di Musica "e. f. Dall'Abaco" in Verona under the guidance of M° Giancarlo Rado, he attended masterclasses given by Angelo Gilardino, Stefano Grondona, Roger Church, Leo Brouwer, Michele Calgaro and regarding the creative approach to music has attended courses with Meredith Monk and Roberto Dani. Concerts in Italy and abroad (Slovenia, Holland, France, Germany) and as a soloist in various ensembles, including the duo "Miroirs" (two guitars), "Musicaedro" (eight guitars), the plectrum Orchestra of Breganze and quartetto "Concordia" (four guitars). It is winner of numerous international competitions. In 1994 he graduated with the highest grades in the disciplines of art, Music and performing arts (D.a.m.s.) at the University of Bologna with a thesis on creative teaching guitar. In 2001 recorded a CD containing his compositions with Andrea Neresini, entitled "SURFACING", in 2002 GUITARS recorded a CD with "The Musicaedro". In 2004 recorded a CD with music by J.S. Bach and d. Scarlatti and the CD "The mandolin between Padua and Vicenza" in collaboration with the plectrum Orchestra of Breganze, also containing three of his compositions. He composed the music for numerous collective performance, choreography and inaugurations of artistic events, including "extensions for voice and instruments" (1998), "SURFACING" (1999), "the SECRET SLOWNESS" (2001), "the ASHES of ROSES" (2003), "GRAN TEATRO DEL BABAU" (2004), "mutations" (2005), "painting music" (2006), "SALOME" (2009). Deals with music pedagogy and composed numerous pieces of educational character for guitar and piano, including the "GUITAR". He taught guitar at various schools to Address Musical institutes and Music at the Conservatory "g. Tartini" in Trieste. Holds lectures on contemporary music and music education courses for teachers. Also carries out intense paintings and graphics.

He held the Professorship of Guitar at the Conservatory of Cagliari, now teaches at the Conservatory Pedrollo in Vicenza.
