EXCURSION DEVELOPMENT:
Trekking &Astronomy: in collaboration with the Asiago Astrophysical Observatory, Guide Altopiano offers an astronomical excursion that will take us to visit the astronomy center of Asiago-Pennar. After a walk around Asiago, where our guides will illustrate the history and naturalistic aspects of the area, often talking about topics related to astronomy, we will visit, guided by the astronomers who work on site, the Astrophysical Observatory: here, after an educational lesson, we will stop inside the large dome that houses the Galileo telescope of 122cm in diameter , at the time the largest telescope in Europe.
