Guided nature-cultural walk to the Third Altar with Asiago Guide

META: Stoccareddo - Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
Starting from Stoccareddo,we begin a walk through the streets of the quaint mountain town, where time seems to have stopped, and then continue through the meadows and woods of the Col d'Ecchele,, one of the many battlefields of the First World War where the gold medal Roberto Sarfattifell.
From here we will descend towards Valsugana, where strange karst formations watch like sentinels on the valley, the last of these columns is the Spitzknotto,, a place full of mystery, sacred to the first inhabitants of these mountains.
Also known as the Third Altar,, this overhanging formation on the Frenzela Valleyhas alwaysenchanted the imagination of the inhabitants. The guide will take you to discover the history and legends of the territory to make a pleasant morning breathing the healthy mountain air.
Reservations are required.
Mandatory personal equipment of mask and disinfectant gel.
DIFFICULT: We assign a difficulty 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route develops between mountain trails, dirt roads, and a few short stretches of little-trafficked paved road, crosses the village of Stoccareddo, mixed woods and beech, areas dedicated to grazing. The uphill difference is less than 300 m, there are exposed sections.
FROM PORT WITH Self: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, cap.
COST: 15 euros for guided hike. 5th for children under 15.
