Guided hike with AsiagoGuide
Starting from Stoccareddo, we begin a walk through the streets of the characteristic mountain village, where time seems to have stopped, until we go through meadows and woods.
We will arrive at the Col Dell'ecchele, one of the many battlefields of the First World War where the gold medal Roberto Sarfatti fell.
From here we descend to the Valsugana, where strange karst formations watch as Sentinels on the valley, the last of these columns is the Spitz Knotto a place sacred to the first inhabitants of these mountains.
Also known by the name of the third altar, this place overhanging the Val Frenzela, which has always been a fear, but at the same time enchanted the imagination of the inhabitants of Stoccareddo. The guide will accompany you to discover the history and legends of the area in order to spend a pleasant morning breathing the healthy mountain air.
The route develops between mountain paths, dirt roads, and a few short stretch of paved road not very busy, crosses the town of Stoccareddo, mixed woods and beech, areas dedicated to grazing. The climb is less than 300 m, there are exposed sections.
