Open-air MUSEUMS excursion to Monte Corno on the occasion of the centenary of the great war, Lusiana, Asiago plateau, July 27, 2014

Sunday 27 July 2014 at 9.30 a.m. leaving from Piazzale Monte Corno in Lusiana, Asiago plateau, theexcursion to the Monte Corno inside of open-air Museums organized by Museums AltoVicentino.

A hundred years from the beginning of the fighting, you want to follow that line of Defense scheduled on Monte Corno which saw civilians engaged in the construction of defensive structuresin order to deal with the tragedy that was taking place.

EXCURSION TO MONTE CORNO PROGRAM

• 9.30 A.m. meeting at the square of Monte Corno and departure on the trail of the poilus, along the line, with a visit to defence works: stalking, carved in the rock shelters, artillery emplacements.
• Hours 12.30-14.30 lunch at the Rossingroba Hut
• 14.30 Hours Continuation of the path until you reach theCentre to Cima Mosca, command center of French regiments
• 17.00 Hrs Return and farewell
