Parade and band concert on the streets of Gallio

Saturday 24 August 2019 will be a very special morning.

Along the streets of Gallio,starting at 11 a.m. will be held the spectacular parade with standing concert curated by the MossonBand.

A musical event that will entertain and engage all the audience present to the rhythm of music, with modern reinterpretations of jazz, soul, pop and percussion solos.

MOSSON BAND - Mosson Drum & Bugle Corps

Founded in 1910, the Mosson Drum & Bugle Corps is a group with a long history of its kind, and one of the most important nationally and Europeanally.

This is a musical association active in the national and European field in the organization of musical performances of high technical competence and extraordinary choreographic and musical impact.

The staff is composed for the instrumental section of brass and percussion and for the choreographic section by a corps of dance with flags. In detail the musical instruments used are: brass (trumpets, mellophones, baritones, euphonium, tuba), mobile percussion (snares, multitoms, bass, cymbals), fixed percussion (marimba, vibraphone, xylophone, glockenspiel, concert box, gong, miscellaneous percussion); while the tools used for colorguards choreography are flags, rifles and sabres.

Drum corps found their roots in America as a specialization of marching bands.
