On Monday 19 August 2019,at the Central Stage located in Piazza II Risorgimento,in Asiago,will be held the presentation of the book "Towork!" by Lino Zonin.

The interesting literary meeting will begin at 5.30pm.

The appointment is part of the exhibition "Aperitif with the Author", a rich review of literary meetings that every summer is organized by the Library Giunti at the Point of Asiago.

TO LAVORARE!

"To work! " is the new book by Lino Zonin (published by Agora Factory) and, as Antonio Stefani writes, "it is not what it seems, but it is what it does not seem; it seems an autobiography and instead becomes the portrait, affectionate and abrasive, of a Veneto gone from the euphoria of well-being to the creaks of the crisis, to the financial masterpiece of the banking cracs".
The reader can find us with their own life (not only work) or, if young, with that of their parents. If the reader in question is Vicentino, and inhabits or knows the southern and western part of the province, then the connections will become precise moments and names. Zonin does not make them, the names, but accurately describes the vices and virtues of the entrepreneurs with whom he came into contact in his working life, and the game of recognizing them is an additional fun in the scrolling of pages.
They should not deceive, however, the light tone or the witty colors of "To work!": it is often the taste of melancholy (not nostalgia) and a certain bitterness (especially for people who are no longer there) that accompany the reader in the meetings that has the accountants and entrepreneurs, between corporate offices and banks. For Lino Zonin, remembering is not an exercise in itself, but an opportunity to reflect on attitudes and choices, ethics and economics, human relations, social change.
