Alberto di Gilio in conference at the Fort of Punta Corbin on the Asiago Plateau
On Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 3 p.m.,the Fort of Punta Corbin will be the setting for the conference entitled"Caporetto's defeat in the eyes of a Yankee. Hemingway his 'farewell to arms' between historical reality and novel" held by Alberto di Gilio.
ALBERTO DI GILIO
Born in Parma in 1968 and living in Vigonza in the province of Padua, Alberto Di Gilio is a historical researcher,combining a passion for the First World War with a constant documentary research activity in the major Italian museums, libraries and historical archives.
On the theme of the Great War he wrote numerous works getting presentations and conferences in Italy and abroad.
He has also written several articles for specialized magazines and participated as a curator in exhibitions and events on the subject.
