Aperitif with author Mattia Signorini in collaboration with the library Giunti Al Punto di Asiago
Saturday, August 10, 2019,the appointment with the "culturallounge" of the exhibition "Aperitifwith theAuthor" organized by the Library Giunti at the Point of Asiago.
Author Mattia Signorini will present his new book "Minor Stars" at the Central Stage located in Piazza IIResurgence, in Asiago.
The interesting literary meeting will begin at 5.30 pm and will be moderated by SilvanaForte.
A nice opportunity to meet the author and spend an afternoon in the name of culture, immersed in the lively summer atmosphere of beautiful Asiago.

MINOR STARS
Nine years have passed since the day that diverted the course of Zeno's life, when his professor, Nicola Sceriman, died in a tragic accident. Now Zeno is thirty years old, he teaches in high school and he's getting married: it's time to come to terms with the past. Because only he and Agata, his then-girlfriend, know how things really went, only they know the truth about Sceriman's death. And it is Agata who breaks the ancient pact of silence through a letter in which she asks him to meet her: "There are things you don't know yet, Zeno. It is on the Asiago Plateau that our silence has begun, and I believe that is where we must conclude this story, now with the right words. I need to do it, because I'm afraid of what would happen to your life if everything came back to the surface." In rebuilding that distant day comes back the love that bound Zeno and Agata and return the promises of the future that the years of university and youth brought with them, the impression of being able to change it, that future, the fascination unleashed by Sceriman - author of a single novel, critically acclaimed and loved by boys, "Human Nature", and unconventional professor, able to forge with the students relationships of great closeness, to involve them in ambitious, exciting projects... But also the hidden truths, the shadows that tell another story.
