Aperitif with the author Maurizio De Giovanni in collaboration with the library Giunti Al Punto di Asiago
On Saturday, August 31, 2019,for the exhibition "Aperitifwith theAuthor" organized by the Library Joint to the Point of Asiago, the author Maurizio De Giovanni will present his book "The Weeping of Dawn".
The meeting will begin at 5.30pm, at the Central Stage located in Piazza II Risorgimento.
A meeting not to be missed for book and reading enthusiasts and for those who want to discover Commissioner Ricciardi'slatest adventure.

THE CRY OF DAWN
With a poignant twist, Commissioner Ricciardi closes his cycle.
"Fear, thought Ricciardi. Fear, that grip on the stomach and heart, the shortness of breath, sweat. If you have someone you love, if someone depends on you, the fear is different. Change color."
All the pain in the world, that's what life has reserved for Ricciardi. At least until a year ago. Then, in spite of common sense and fears, a piece of happiness took him on the fly too. It is only that fate does not provide discounts for those condemned from birth to give compassion in return suffering, and it is therefore not on any murder that the Commissioner finds himself investigating in the torrid July of 1934. The dead man is the man who almost did not take away his hope for a future; the main suspect, a woman who desired it, and still desires it, with inexhaustible passion. Thus, before we find out definitively whether in front of him, to wait for him, there is a perpetual night or if every day will come dawn with his promises, he must once again, more than ever, face evil. And try to piece together, as far as possible, what others have broken.
