Consuelo Morello presents two of his books
On the afternoon of Saturday, August 3, 2019, a special event is planned for small readers and their families, at the pro Loco headquarters in Roana.
Starting at 4:30p.m., writer and illustrator Consuelo Morello will present her two books in the series "The Magical Village of Gnomes", written inspired by the grove of P.Slen, where you can visit the real Gnomevillage.
The season of knowledge
Among men there are only four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. For gnomes, in addition to these, the seasons are many more. There is the season of the game and of amazement in the first phase of life, then follow the season of knowledge, the season of the realization of one's talents and finally, in later life, the season of wisdom. Each of these does not have a set time like the seasons of men, but varies depending on each individual gnome. Gnome puppies, for example, do not start school all at the same time, but only when each of them is ready. When a gnome, in the season of his talents, realizes that he is a teacher, he begins his observation path and chooses among the younger ones the students ready to embark on the season of knowledge. This is the story of Hyperic Master and his special pupils.
The Season of Wisdom
Seven small gnomes far from the safe confines of the village and the Old Augustus, at the height of its season of wisdom, guardian of a love and the secrets that nature hides from the eyes, will accompany the reader in a full story of feelings. A story that overturns convictions and gives children an important task...
MORELLO CONSUEL
Consuelo Morello is a writer,children's illustrator and art teacher. Graduated with flying colours from the G. De Fabris Institute of Art in Nine (Vi). From 2004 he began to publish his works published by Kite, Shock WaveEditions, The Flowers of Field and Papergraf. In 2016 he published the first book of the series "The Magical Village of the Gnomes – The Season of Knowledge" and in 2017 "The Magical Village of Gnomes – The Season of Wisdom" set in the grove of P'slen, on the Asiago Plateau .
