Presentation of the new organ Mascioni, Gregorian singers Concert, Asiago Saturday September 8, 2012
Saturday September 8, 2012 will take place the presentation of the new organ Mascioni della Chiesa di San Rocco in Asiago.
The event will begin at ' /21:00 at the Church located along the Corso IV Novembre.
For ' the occasion there will also be a concert with the Gregorian Singers, conducted by maestro Fulvio Rampi.
I CANTORI GREGORIANI:
Singing the Gregorian chant in particular in calm and cozy proportions of large or small Romanesque architecture is revealed little by little a wonderful world to human measure and celeste, in which the melody, the architecture and shapes seem to take life from the same source.
I Cantori Gregoriani were born in 1986 at the Pontifical Institute of sacred music in Milan on the initiative of its Director Fulvio Rampi, then teacher of Gregorian semiology at the same Institute, having drawn as a pupil of Luigi Agustoni authority.
The intense concert activity in Italy and abroad (Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Poland, Belgium, Lebanon, Russia, Japan, Brazil) on behalf of important musical and cultural associations, has gradually added a substantial record production on behalf of important Italian and foreign labels (Rusty Records, PDU-EMI, JVC Japan, Paoline, Sarx Records, ARCANA-WDR).
The choir has also made recordings for the Swiss Radio Suisse Romande, for the German Radio WDR, ORF Austrian television and NHK Japan.
In 25 years the group, besides having performed hundreds of gigs and recorded more than 20 albums, has organized and taught, academies, seminars, conferences on Gregorian chant and published specialist magazine "Gregorian Notes".
