Sunday, June 19, 2016, at 10.30 a.m., at the Council Chamber of the Town Hall of Asiago will take place the presentation of the book "MARIO RIGONI STERN-Life, wars, books" by Joseph Mendicino.
The meeting will be moderated by the journalist Sergio Fridge and it is an opportunity to become better acquainted with the figure of the famous writer asiaghese, through the story of the author of this exciting biography.

Mario Rigoni Stern, one of the greatest Italian writers of the twentieth century, was born and lived in theveneto of the seven municipalities plateau, told war stories and natural histories that have made the company to multiple generations of readers.
His books are evidences of the tragedies of World War II, but in his stories there are also animals, forests, Alpine pastures and mountains; few writers have managed to describe with the same knowledge and sensitivity on the natural world.
Joseph Maidment, passionate lover of memory and of the books of the great writer of Asiago, he tells through this biography.
