Religious procession in Canove di Roana for the assumption
Sunday 14 August 2016, as usual, from 21.00 hours at the parish church of Canovedi Roana, Asiago plateau, there will be a procession of the assumption, a Catholic religious ceremony that annually attracts a great number of faithful.
Theassumption of Mary into heaven is a Catholic dogma which States that Mary, having completed the course of her earthly life, was moved to Paradise, both with the soul with the body, was hired, accepted in heaven.
The assumption, in Catholic thought, is ananticipation of the resurrection of the flesh, that to all other men will only happen in the end times, with the last judgement.
