Competions
Asiago will host Wednesday 18 may the 1st stage of the sporting event "on the paths of the great war", organized by the Vicenza school office and for the current year by the municipality of Asiago.
The event, which began last year in Bassano del Grappa, includes 4 stages, one per year, to commemorate the four years of the great war. In 2017 the event will move to Schio and Vicenzawill end in 2018.
The event will include a time trial race patrols, where Vicenza's schools will be represented by 25 students males and 25 females that walk the city streets to arrive at the foot of the War Memorial Laiten: check your position you will detect the tempo of the twentieth.
At 10 o'clock will start the first patrol and will own theInstitute "Mario Rigoni Stern" from Asiago to open competition.
Joined almost all of Vicenza's schools from across the province, for a total of more than 4500 athletes and 500 teachers beyond the already high number of members of the 1st stage in Bassano del Grappa.
On Wednesday 18, or in case of bad weather in that on Thursday 19 may, the streets of the old town are closed to traffic from 9.00 to 16.00.

From 11.00 to 14.00 kids can visit the War Memorial, the Centre of Asiago and relax within the parks. 11.30 a.m. in piazza Carli at 14.00 there will be groups of students that will animate with dances and music athletes finished the race pending the award ceremonies. The event will be narrated by students of theMountain Institute of Vicenza, which through photos and videos will capture impressions and the best photos for this event to remain long in the memory of all.

ORGANIZATION
Crucial cooperation in the preparation of the route and the safety of the same: the Alpine Section Monte Ortigara, Unione Sportiva Asiago skiing, the Ski Club 2A, civil protection, the local police, the police station of Asiago and the Associazione Nazionale Carabinieri on leave of the plateau, many thanks to Alpine Sports Group of Asiago, which in addition to providing logistical support has also identified and studied the route through experience in arranging international athletics competitions.
By the Athletic sports groups, Athletic group Bassano with Gabriella Dorio, GIEFS di Schio and AVIEF Teachers Association of physical and technical management and timing will be the ... race.
The logistic organization will be curated by the Institute for tourism, hotel industry and sports of Asiago "Mario Rigoni Stern". The cones and the PANATHLON in Vicenza and Schio will provide prizes for the best 6 teams per category. The Foundation BCC Credito Cooperativo, Saby sports, Waters have provided already environment since last year in Chiampo all athletes of tricolour coats that will be worn during the whole race: to bring the colors of the flag along the streets of Asiago and pay homage to our fallen.
Waters NORDA and RECOARO with dairy Pennar will attend the arrival with their products for refreshment to athletes who have raced.
The participation of so many was made possible thanks to SVT transport service that it has made available more than 70 bus ticket costs only 2 euros return per participant. The bus route will be assisted by the traffic police.
