RUSSIAN SEASONS IN ITALY-Great dance show and music at Asiago-15 February 2018

The Russian Ballet arrives at Asiago, on 15 February 2018, for a Show of great depth, dedicated to the 200 anniversary of the birth of Marius Petipa.

At 21.00 hours, at Teatro Eliseo di Asiago will be the talented dancers of theVaganova Academy in St. Petersburg., which give evidence of sinuously and graceful elegance and the charm of theart of Ballet, giving strong emotions to the audience.

The town of Asiago is honored to host this event which gives prestige to its cultural programming and helps strengthen the bond with the Russian community in which in recent years has opened through organizing exhibitions and cultural events of the highest standard.

The event is organized by the town of Asiago in collaboration with theAssociazione Turistica Pro Loco Asiago and Sasso.

VAGANOVA ACADEMY IN ST. PETERSBURG.

TheVaganova Ballet Academy is one of the most famous ballet schools in the world. It was the first Russian theatre danceschool.

In 1977 was filmed a documentary about the school that received an Oscar nomination entitled "The Children of Theatre Street, with the narrative voice of Princess Grace of Monaco.

The Academy with this exhibition commemorates the 200 anniversary of the birth of ballet master Marius Petipa and the Imperial Ballet first ballet of St. Petersburg, between 1862 and around 1905. Petipa was creator of over fifty Ballets, many of which remain in the classical repertoire. Formed at the French school, Petipa has developed considerably the technique of classical ballet , affecting in particular the evolution and development of the Russian school.

This school came the greatest dancers of all time by Anna Pavlova to Rudolf Nureyev, Natalia Makarova to Mikhail Baryshnikov, Farukh Ruzimatov to Uliana Lopatkina, Diana Vishneva, Igor Zelensky, Svetlana Zakharova, Andrian Fadeyev and between the latest rising stars include Alina Somova, Viktorija Terëškina and Olesya Novikova.

After the positive experience in 2015 with the complex Dance State academic Alan, continues the cooperation with the Russian Federation which has important meanings of mutual understanding in terms of culture, history, beauty.
