Reciting monologues and sonnets by William Shakespeare on the Asiago plateau
In 400 years after the death of the famous playwright who ever lived, theAltopiano di Asiago makes homage to William Shakespeare through the recitation of short monologues and sonnets of plays by English writer.
Saturday 1 St October 2016, therefore, meeting at Palazzo Fincati of Santa Caterina di Lusiana, for an evening of theatre to be experienced entitled "Shakespeare ... and not only".

Plays, poetry, comedies. William Shakespeare was the poet more representative for the English people (and others) as well as the exponent for stora dramaturgy.
Shakespeare lived at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries (Stratford-upon-Avon, -1616 April 23, 1564), a time when it was making the transition from the medieval to the modern world.
Among his most famous works include Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Antony and Cleopatra, Midsummer night's dream and the merchant of Venice.
