From Saturday, December 7 to Sunday 23 February 2014 the Plateau Guides Association will offer numerous snowshoe in the most beautiful places of theAsiago plateau.
Saturday, December 7 the excursion will take place on Mount Zhong; the meeting point is at attached to bar of Asiago ice rink at 9.00 o'clock. You must wear Mountain boots and heavy clothing.
At the end of the excursion, prior notification, you can lunch in a restaurant/refuge nearby.
MONTE ERIO
The Zhong Mountain is located above the village of Mittewald, little-known but area offering a beautiful panorama on the central basin and the western part of the plateau. The path starts from the former elioterapico Institute and will lead us through the Woods, pastures of malga beautiful used for summer pasture.
In the first part of the climb requires a bit of effort, but you will be richly rewarded by the sight. After returning you can visit a famous Karst chasm, Stonhaus, fabled home of orcs and other imaginary characters plateau.
