Snowshoeing or Literary Nature Guided Walk with readings taken from Mario Rigoni Stern in the company of Asiago Guide

Saturday 6 February 2021 from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm

DESTINATION: Val Giardini (Asiago) - Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)

We offer a literaryand experiential excursion at sunset to explore the places that Mario Rigoni Stern described in his works.

The Plateau is considered the silent protagonist of the writer's various books, and with this excursion we want to involve all the senses starting from hearing: we read a few pieces, we smell the forest air, we observe the signs of the presence of wildlife, we remember mountain traditions.

All for a pleasant guided experience among the woods and districts close to what was the house that loved so much, simple as a hive for bees .....

Reservations are required.

Mandatory personal equipment of mask and disinfectant gel.

DIFFICULTY: We assign a difficulty 1 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route is ring and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain trails, and dirt roads. The uphill difference is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.

The route may change due to the presence of ice/snow but the difficulty will remain unchanged.

TO TAKE WITH you: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunglasses, cap, gloves, front pile.

COST: 15€, for the guided excursion. 5€ for children under 15 years old.

Possible rental of snowshoes and sticks: 10€ per person.
