Aperitif with the author Salvo Sottile in collaboration with the library Giunti At the Point of Asiago
On the occasion of the exhibition "Aperitif with the Author", organized as every summer by the Library Giunti at the Point of Asiago, Sunday, August 4, 2019 will be held the presentation of the book "Night fonda" of the well-known journalist Except Thin.
The lively centre of the Highlands will once again frame a truly interesting literary meeting, during which the author will talk about his book, inspired by the night world he so well explored in these years with the broadcast "First ofdawn."
The meeting will be held at the Central Stage located in Piazza II Risorgimento,starting at 5.30pm. It will be Piero Brazzale who will moderate the meeting.
In case of bad weather the meeting will be held at the Millepini Theatre
Night
Coinciding with the cult show of the same name on Rai 3, Salvo Sottile returns to the bookstore with "Before Dawn", a journey at the end of the night, discovering beautiful, terrible and unexpected stories.
Abuses, violence, malpractice, but also warm voices and full of hope. The night is a rich and nuanced world and Salvo Sottile now knows it thoroughly. With his voice halfway between the literary and the journalistic, Sottile recounts the degradation of the suburbs and the dignity of the mothers of Tor Bella Monaca, the croaking sirens of the road and the well-spent lives of those who offer their help to others, closed houses and scamb clubs out of the province and the innocent victims of the violence of the underworld. Through scenarios full of excesses, long waits and shattered dreams, Salvo Sottile's "Before Dawn" traces a vivid and merciless account of the darkest night.

Salvo Sottile is a journalist, writer and television host.
He was sent and host of TG5 and the first Sky TG 24news. Also on Sky was part of the programs Double Express and The Black Box.
On Rete4 he conducted the program in prime time FourthGrade, and then moved on to the conduct on Channel 5 of Fifth Column.
For La7 he conducted the news program Yellow Line and the summer political talk Aired.
He then moved to Rai, and led along with Eleonora Daniele Estate live and flanked Paola Perego in the conduct of Sunday in 2015, and then moved on to lead Me Manda Raitre.
On 19 March 2018 he debuted in the second evening of Rai 3 with the first season of BeforeDawn.
Salvo Sottile has also published the novels Maqeda,published by Baldini Castoldi Dalai, and Darker ofMidnight, published by Sperling & Kupfer.
