Guided excursion, a visit to the farm and demonstration of shepherds and dogs, tasting of typical products with Asiago Guide

Step by step through the woods and mountain pastures we discover the secret life of the shepherds.

An adventure that allows us to learn about the activity of the breeding of flocks of a time and today.

We will witness a demonstration of the working dogs in tune with the shepherd,who with simple gestures accompanied by incomprehensible mottos, orders what to do to his dogs. A symbiosis that is handed down from generation to generation to ensure the safety of the sheep and the work of the breeder.

The life of the wanderer today has become more difficult due to the presence of the lupo skilled wolf predator of sheep. The shepherds for this have equipped themselves with guardian dogs,like theshepherds maremmano Abruzzo. A challenge and a difficult coexistence.

There will also be a rich outdoor snack based on typical products!

The route is spread between mountain trails and dirt roads. The uphill difference is less than 350 m there are no exposed sections.

FROM PORT WITH Self: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1.5 liters), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, cap, PRANZO AL SACCO.
