On Sunday 29 June 2025, in Gallio, in Piazza Italia and Piazza Giardini, the 3rd edition of the long-awaited "SU, IN MALGA!" festival officially kicks off, an event that celebrates the authentic flavors, mountain pasture life and traditions of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities.
The inaugural day will be dedicated to the little ones, with educational workshops and many activities inspired by life in the mountain hut, to bring children – and their families – closer to the rural world, contact with animals and the trades of the past. A fun and instructive opportunity to get to the heart of the initiative right away. DISCOVER THE DAY'S PROGRAM BELOW!
But "Su, in Malga!" does not end in a single day: from the end of June onwards, the program will continue with a series of summer events in the mountain huts of the area, each with its own proposal made up of activities for all ages and experiences in contact with nature, local culture and typical products.
In short, Up, in Malga will be a real journey through pastures, mountain huts, cheeses and tradition, to experience the Plateau slowly and authentically.
The journey will culminate on Saturday 20 September 2025 with "SCARGAR MALGA", the great final event celebrating the end of the mountain pasture season, dedicated to honey, mountain products and the millenary tradition of transhumance, between ancient knowledge, nature and flavors to be preserved.

"Come on, to the malga: the journey of the cow Margherita!": put yourself to the test! Brand new educational trail!
PAID WORKSHOPS FROM 5 TO 99 YEARS OLD
1 - "Let's paint our cutting board together!" - Artistic workshop of painting on wood by Anna Paccanaro. At the end, each child will take home their own wooden work
Cost: € 15.00 per child
2 - "Sweet dreams with the CoccolaMuuuuu pillow – the cow of dreams is waiting for you: create your own special pillow!" - Let's make our favorite bedtime pillow together by decorating it and enriching it with scents and wishes. At the end, each child will take home their own creation. Curated by Annalisa Panozzo "LaDaBu".
Cost: € 10.00 per child
3 - "The little cheesemaker: a very tasty educational workshop..." A wonderful experience on the world of milk where everyone will go to produce the famous "tosela", the tasty fresh cheese typical of the Plateau, little sister of the prestigious Asiago DOP. A small snack of bread, butter and... magic... Curated by Massimiliano Gnesotto.

Workshops by reservation, with payment by debit card on the same day at the IAT in Gallio. You can book in advance.
