Historic Conference on "the battle of the Solstice" in Gallio

Thursday 2 August 2018, alle ore 20.45, at the Council Chamber of Gallium will be held the Conference entitled "1918-one year war - the battle of the Solstice" by Gian Paolo Marchetti .

The meeting will be the battle of Solsitizio took place along the Piave River, where theItalian army, supported by the English and the French, contrasted a violent attack austro-Hungarianarmy, in June 1918, giving a twist to the events of the great war. Just a few months away from the defeat of Caporetto, this battle was one of the significant milestones that led to the final victory.
