Traditional pilgrimage to Monte Ortigara

On July 7 and 8, 2018 on theplateau of Asiago, there will be a major event in commemoration to the fallen of the great war: the national pilgrimage to Ortigara.

The annual national pilgrimage is organized in memory and honor of the dead, missing and maimed in the first world war and attracts many people from all parts of the plateau, the Veneto region and beyond.

PROGRAM NATIONAL PILGRIMAGE To ORTIGARA

SATURDAY 7 JULY

• Hours 15.00 ASIAGO -Crowding at the ice stadium and the adjacent Park Millepini;
  
• 15.30 Hours Surrender of the National Alpine Association honors to Labaro;
  flag-raising ceremony and start of the slippage in the direction of the Sacred military;
  Deposition Crown;
  Back at the ice stadium and flag-lowering ceremony.

SUNDAY 8 JULY

• 7.00 Hours ASIAGO -Piazza Risorgimento II: departure to the National Alpine Association of Mount ORTIGARA Labaro Emblems and sectional doors
  
• Hours 10.15 MONTE ORTIGARA - q. 2105 at Colonna Mozza formation on the grid, made of honors to the National Alpine Association Banner.
  
• Hours 10.30 MONTE ORTIGARA Holy Mass concelebrated by the Alpino Don Rino Masella, after deposition of the Crown to the column Mozza, intervention, performance of National Alpine Association honors to Labaro, deposition of the laurel wreath on the Cippo Austro-Hungarian Empire.
  
• Hours 10.30 MONTE LOZZE adjacent to the Church: Holy mass for those who cannot climb the memorial stones.

NOTES

- Unique sense of March till 13.00 Piazza Saline-narrow pitch-Campo Magro, then from that hour the single-minded is reversed

-Derogation from prohibition until 6 a.m. Friday 14.00 encampment 24.00 on Sunday 8 July.

-8 July 5 to Sunday since Thursday ban and stop for caravans and motor homes from Piazzale delle Saline and Piazzale of narrow pitch

-Parking in Piazzale of narrow pitch reserved for buses, minibuses and authorized
