EXCURSION:
It is well known that for all lovers of the starry sky, the most anticipated event is that of the shooting stars of the "Night of St. Lawrence". The "tears of San Lorenzo", as it is also called the most famous, and romantic phenomenon related to multiple legends also local, is provoked by the swarm of "falling stars" or rather meteors that originate from the trail of debris left by the comet Swift-Tuttle discovered as early as 1862.
In ancient times, however, they were thought to have come from the constellation Perseus; that's why they're also called "Perseids."

The Guide and our Astrophysicist Vittorio Poli will tell you the portion of the sky to "scrutinize" towards the radiant Perseids, where you will be more likely to observe the phenomenon of "falling stars".

READING THE DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY:

FACILE: The route takes place on forest roads, dirt roads or easy mulees always well indicated and without orientation problems in cases of fog or bad weather. The elevations are contained within 250-300 meters and the length of the route is within three hours. These are a bit of long walks that require a hiking sports shoe, not necessarily the pedula or boot.

FACILE/MEDIO: The route takes place on forest roads, dirt roads or easy mulees always well indicated. The elevations are contained within 250-400 meters and the length of the route is within 3 - 5 ORE. These are a bit of long walks that require a hiking sports shoe or boot.

AVERAGE: The route definitely exceeds three hours, it is more complex, it takes place on a trail with some challenging climbs or descent but can be overcome without the support of mountaineering equipment. The terrain can be disconnected or lack of signals. The maximum difference in altitude, however, remains within the 400 meters.

MEDIO/IMPEGNATIVE: The route definitely exceeds three hours, it is complex for the difference in altitude that can reach 700 meters or for the length of the walk up to 6 hours, it takes place on a trail with some challenging ascent or descent but can be overcome without the support of mountaineering equipment. The terrain can be disconnected or lack of signals.

IMPEGNATIVO: These itineraries require a lot of experience, training and physical strength from those who travel them. it is necessary to know how to move expertly even in dangerous terrain: gravels, steep slopes or steep stretches, thick scrub, high and unreferenced, passages in rock, absence of springs. The difficulty of the terrain and the distance from the points of support require total autonomy. Where indicated there may be a need to bring to the tow bivouac material such as the tent, bivouac bag, stove, food, requires training, energy and strong motivation.
