The world's longest parade of the tricolour from Gallio at Asiago-2 June 2018

Saturday 2 June 2018, after marching in Bassano del Grappa in 2016 and in Reggio Emilia in 2017 in the presence of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, the tricolor Flag entered in "Guinness world records" is preparing to embrace symbolically theAsiago plateau, Land dear to the homeland for the tragic tribute paid in the first world war, in order to render honors to the fallen and a tribute to the peoples of the plateau's border that have lived for over three years in territories to the front and lived the exodus and the profugato in distant lands in the Italian peninsula.

The tricolor flag is 1,797 metreslong, as the year in which it was conceived in Reggio Emilia (7 January 1797). Is made of acetate, 4.80 meters wide, has an area of 8,626 square meters, weighs 5 tons and to support him during the journey requires minimum of 1000 volunteers.

Extraction will begin in Gallium at 15.00 hours from monument "from here you pass" (crossroads Melette) and will end at Asiago at 18.30 hours/19.00 at the end of Via Dante (intersection with Scattered).
The 1000 rulers must gather to Gallium from 14.00 to ensure complete and secure unrolling of the cloth. In the starting area will be welcomed by staff in your organization who will regulate the formation of two files to hold the flag.

THE PROCESSION

ROUTE

Extraction will unfold between Gallium and Asiago on a path of 7 kilometers. Time of about 2.5 km/hdefilement.

Departure of slippage from Gallio at 15.00 hours from Monument "from here you pass" (crossroads Melette) and proceed along Via Roma, Piazza Italy, Via Prestinari, Via Camona and, arriving at Asiago, Via Rendola, Via common 7 Battalion Piazzale degli Eroi. Hence will enter the sacred area going up Viale degli Eroi and will come to the War Memorial where will be the honours to the fallen.

After "hugged" shrine, the Tricolore descend along Viale degli Eroi, Viale della Vittoria, Viale Giacomo Matteotti and Via Abate Costa then take Corso IV Novembre and arrive in Piazza Risorgimento II where there will be a space for official speeches, readings and songs. Finally the Tricolor will continue straight to Via Dante Alighieri until where it will rewind the drape.

WHAT TO DO TO PARTICIPATE AS RULERS

The organization expects the complex to the size of the cloth, your chosen itinerary and the large number of people involved both as "rulers" for events. The spirit of the event is to involve all components of the plateau's social fabric, so that the parade is a veritable feast of people and an incentive for a greater sensitivity to our Tricolour, symbol of national identity and unity.

For the success of large and significant event, to walk together holding the tricolour Flag, then appeal to the entire population of the plateau irrespective of nationality, gender, age, political or religious beliefs, skin color, signifying the unity, cohesion and solidarity as well as the desire for peace of the people around the Italian Tricolour and commemorate the Fallen.
It appeals to all Councilors of the 8 municipalities, associations and groups (Army associations, sports clubs, cultural and social Associations, Scouts, clubs, committees, and service to school principals, Teachers and schools ).
