Sunday, October 7, 2012, Asiago, will debut the new show "Hansel and Gretel and the poor witch", executed by Compagnia Glossa Theater.

The ' event will take place at the Palazzo del Turismo Millepini of Asiago to 17:00 hours.

It is a children's show, text written by Pino Costalunga.

Have you ever thought about the famous story of Hansel and Gretel from the point of view of the witch? You own that poor children hungry witch who has devised many tricks to capture its small victims and remains a victim itself of its prey, thrown into the furnace to burn!

Well, in our history of witches there is just one, but three, and I'm here to tell us, many years later, beautiful days in which there were "dark times and the kids were good to eat". The witches, as everyone well knows, they love to be recognized not disguise from children. Hansel and Gretel, which are two good and intelligent children who have learned from their parents and from the books as goes life, have undergone strong suspicions, but witches alas have their magic and not only manage to capture those who decide to have lunch, but involve everyone you approach in a terrible confusion of rhymes, echoes and rhythms – why you need to know that the witches speak only in verse – .... and so by hunger of witches and the easy rhyme there you save more, not even wanting to. But it's more powerful magic or intelligence? You who say?

The stage version is a free adaptation from the Brothers Grimm fairy tale of which ricodano this year the 200 years since the first publication of their famous collection of Fables

GLOSSA THEATRE COMPANY

The cultural association "Glossa theater" was founded in November of ' 96 as regular continuation and development of a previous activity linked to the theatre and culture more generally.

Soul and founder of the Association is the actor, Director and songwriter Pino Costalunga, for years engaged not only in the creation of theatrical and musical performances as actor, Director or author with different Companies Venete and not, as well as animator of numerous training workshops for young people and teachers, as well as curator and creator of many theatrical events or the theatre.

It is precisely with students and young people from these workshops that the idea of founding an association that aims has the most logical to produce shows, as a matter of priority and, more generally, the goal of spreading the Theatrical Culture, film and Music in the whole national territory and outside the Country, with particular regard to the Veneto region.
