Thursday, Cesuna culture book presentation "the French plateau in the great war" by Andrea Vollman

For the exhibition "Thursday of culture" in the hamlet of Cesuna in Roana, Asiago plateau, Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the Biblioteca Mario Rigoni Stern, Andrea Vollman will present "the French plateau in the great war" and his book so titled.

Starting from 20.30 hours, appointment with the history of the great war and the culture in Cesuna, a beautiful initiative to deepen their knowledge on what was a tragic period in theAsiago plateau.

The French in the plateau were less well known presence of the British, but equally important in the historiography of the plateau: from battles on the Pennar to the heavy artillery of Rocchette. The tracks followed by two authors Andrea Vollman and Francis Banks are often unexpected and exciting.
