This week in Roana the appointment with the initiative of the Filò returns.
On the evening of Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 20.30,young and old will be able to gather at the headquarters of the Pro Loco in Roana to "make a lot ", that is, to make handwork by exchanging four chats in Company.
An evening in memory of the old days, to rediscover together the ancient traditions.

What is the silò?
The filòs were a kind of vigil that the peasants, during the long winter evenings, made in the stables to shelter from the cold. To keep them company were the counters, almost mythical characters who, with their stories, kept alive the expressive power of the dialect and handed down its oral tradition. This was also the place of the "chick" and the games, the place where the proverbs, riddles, nursery rhymes, lullabies and folk songs were told. The filò was also dating boyfriends and loves were born.
