Traditional mountain songs, G.e.s Chorus. of Schio, gallium Wednesday, July 25, 2012

Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at the 'Auditorium of Gallium, there will be a concert of Choir G.e.s. of Schio.

This choir will propose traditional mountain songs; early hours 21:00.

It is an event aimed at enthusiasts, or simply people who are pleasant and popular songs.

G.E.S SCHIO CHOIR.

More than ' years sessant Chorale; in 2009 the choir G.E.S. celebrated with solemnity the 61 years of Foundation: more than half a century of song, who told the story of our mountains and our people.

The original inspiration came from the choir of S.A.T Trento. and that group has re-tabled the G.E.S. recognized and appreciated, with sensitivity, many of the most famous songs.

But in the last 20 years the choir has embarked on its original route, greatly enriching the Repertoire and also own songs with specific themes, primarily related to our traditions and our local history.

However the deep soul of this choral group far IHE Schio remained and remains anchored to the most genuine folk tradition, religious holidays, patriotic celebrations, anniversaries and historic travel to meet our emigrants veneti.

In many tours overseas, the choir has performed in recent years (four in the United States, two in Brazil as well as in Sweden, Germany and in various States of Europe) the choir met with festive crowds and touched by emigrants and admirers and is always returned home with a swollen heart of gratitude and satisfaction.
