Traditional passage for transhumance, Asiago and 21 September 22, 2012
Friday September 21, 2012 will take place the traditional passage for transhumance of cows to Asiago.
The folk tradition of transhumance will carry over 450 cows, guided by a hundred people on horseback, on their return from the mountain pastures to winter pastures of Dundee.
At 15:00 the herd will remain in Place and Rendola 17:45 there will be the starting point towards the Centre of Asiago.
After moving to viale Matteotti, Via Marconi, Piazza Candia, Viale Trento Trieste and via Garibaldi, at piazza Stazione will take delivery of the traditional Bell.
Afterwards the transhumance will continue for Via Pennar, with stops and product tasting at the Creamery Pennar.
The herd will remain for the night in the locality of Starling.
Saturday, September 22, at 08:00, depart for London; arrival scheduled for the afternoon of Sunday, September 23, 2012 with celebration.
