Guided walk on wild herbs and their uses and at the end themed dinner at the Biancoia Refuge.
Goal: Locality Biancoia - Asiago plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
The excursion takes place in the southern area of the Asiago plateau, along an unprecedented itinerary in Biancoia and Mount Malcroba.
This town is famous not only for the beautiful beech woods, but also for the characteristic rural context with unique architecture that tells the story of a mountain territory with three borders.
Here you can meet numerous wild herbs rich in scents and aromas whose alimurgic and healing secrets are handed down from generation to generation.
The guide will make you discover with passion every herb that is eaten on the way.
The menu with herbs at includes:
FIRST
Cumin soup with croutons
SECOND
Chicken supreme with dandelion and pennarone
OUTLINE
Potatoes and Meel kraut (mixture of wild herbs) sautéed in a pan
SWEET
Almond and dandelion cake
Water, wine and coffee
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a ring and does not present particular technical difficulties, there are no exposed sections. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in altitude uphill is less than 250 m
TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion, possibly a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, sunglasses.
COST: € 15 for the guided excursion, € 5 for children under 15 years.
