Trekking & Musical Yoga at Asiago, Wellness Week end for yourself

A weekend of Yoga practice in the high mountains and Trekking in search of physical and mental wellbeing in a spectacular setting: the Dolomites.

The activities will take place at the San Marco refuge in the heart of the eastern Dolomites, in the municipality of San Vito di Cadore on the Col de chi da Os at 1823 m above sea level, surrounded by immense dolomitic bastions such as the Antelao, the Sorapiss, the Marmarole.

From the refuge it seems to touch with hand the normal way of ascent to the Antelaus and the slender and elegant walls of the Cima Belprà. It is one of the few shelters that still retains the original structure (1895), small and cozy, when you visit it seems to savor the atmosphere now forgotten and is defined by many "a corner of paradise."

TWO-DAY PROGRAMME:

Saturday 23 June
• Meeting Time 11.00 at Baita SunBar in San Vito di Cadore
• Climb on foot towards the San Marco hut (700m altitude difference, medium/challenging trekking)
• Arrival at the refuge and accommodation
• Practice of Hatha Yoga and meditation
• Dinner and night in refuge

Sunday 24 June
• Sunrise observation, not obligatory, with DOLOMITIC panorama (camera recommended)
• Meditation Practice
• Breakfast in Refuge
• Dynamic Yoga Practice
• Trekking in the context of the Ampezzo Dolomites.
• Arrival in San Vito and snack in company with final greetings planned at 17 o'clock.

The description of the days that involves practices of multi-level yoga, meditation, walks in nature is indicative and there may be variations in the course of the program even the same day. There are no constraints or obligations to participate in practices or walks and if you want to rest instead of attending some exit or meeting you are very free to do so.

CLOTHING REQUIRED:
-Yoga Mat
-Light fleece or blanket;
-For the walk you need the mountain boots, long trousers, K-way, torch for the evening/afternoon exits;
-Everything you need to sleep in the hut, sleeping bag (there are bunk beds provided with blankets, but possibility, for those who want, to use their sleeping bag)

It is also advisable to equip yourself with sunglasses, sunscreen, cap or bandana.

 Giulia Rigoni – Advanced Level yoga teacher
Born and raised on the plateau of Asiago, a magical place rich in history and wonderful nature.
Since I was a child I have cultivated a passion for art, especially for painting, and in the course of my life I have had the opportunity to deepen my artistic skills with the study and practice participating also in exhibitions and competitions in Italy and in Europe.
At the age of 25 another discipline enriched my life: Yoga. After years of study these two of my great passions have finally become my profession. From 2012 I teach multilevel yoga and I propose artistic-creative workshops to adults, boys and children trying to convey my love for these two worlds. In collaboration with a childhood friend with whom I share the passion for nature and the mountain for three years I propose practices of yoga and meditation in nature with a formula unique in its kind and all to discover.

I was born in Asiago, the capital of the plateau of 7 municipalities: beautiful land that I love from a small age and that gave me moments of serenity and happiness.
I live following the philosophy of life from "forestry". I firmly believe that the forest and nature are a sacred space, a gift that we have left those who before us have lived in this land and place to protect and defend in order to leave it intact and wonderful to future generations.
My love for the earth and nature have meant that I dedicate my life by teaching and telling what nature gives: serenity, happiness and healing for our body and mind.

Security and expertise
The Yoga and meditation classes will be guided by the certified Advanced Level Yoga teacher and recognized by Giulia Rigoni and the walks will be accompanied by the naturalistic environmental guide Anna Sella.

-PRANAYAMA
Practices of conscious breathing

-HATHA YOGA
This practice aims at achieving the psycho-physical balance and a greater awareness of our vital, physiological and body processes in all its parts. The different postures and breathings purify our being making us stronger, more flexible and balanced. It acts in elongation on all the muscular chains favoring also a deep joint mobility. It is a practice that makes us aware of our physical limits and helps us to overcome them thanks to a deep concentration on the state of mind-body presence.

-VINYASA YOGA FLOW
It is a form of dynamic yoga that follows the principle of the harmonic flow of breath and movement. The student's mind is soon hooked by practice, distited from his usual patterns and brought to higher levels of consciousness. The decisive rhythm and the continuous variations in the fascinating series of positions make it an excellent exercise, able to keep the body in its optimum shape through all phases of life. The controlled breath calms the nervous system and purifies the internal organs, the blood vessels and the lymphatic system, improving health and generating a sense of deep well-being.

TREKKING expect the difference of 700 m on the first day and 400m on the second day, but will be made in peace to savor the nature and peace that is typical of the place
