"The Colors of the Stars" Workshop and visit the Museum of Instruments of Astronomy at the Asiago Observatory

[DATA_LUNGA]], theAsiago Observatory organizes the "Colors ofthe Stars" workshop, an ideal activity for children and adults to spend an afternoon discovering the secrets of the Universe!

The meeting will begin at 2.30pm,at the Pennar headquarters.
The exciting spectroscopy laboratory will explain how the study of stars is done through their rainbows, using lamps of various types and breaking down the colors with special glasses.

The visit to the museum will follow, where you can admire the instrumentation used fromthe 1940s to the 1970s, with insights into the history of astrophysics.

Full ticket: 10 euros
Reduced: 5 euros for children 6-11 years old, employees and students UNIPD and OAPD

During the appointment it will be possible to visit the dome of the telescope "Galileo", except for the periods when the telescope will be in maintenance.

For those who will participate in two or more visits, only the first entrance will be at full price. Heavy clothing is recommended and a front light is to be equipped with. For groups of at least 15 people it is possible to agree with the astronomer the visit at other times.
