Romantic Duets: Chrystelle Catalan and Matthew Anderlini, Saturday 2 November in Canove

Saturday, 2 November at 21.00 hours at the Council Hall of the municipality of Canove held the romantic duets concert: 2 violins in concert with Chrystelle Carter and Matthew Anderlini, and music by j. w. Kalliwoda, c. De Beriot. As always admission is free.

Also this year the Association Culture & music, in addition to the summer concert season, presents a series of concerts that will deploy over the remaining months.
As first date will be presented to the public of a duo of young and talentuosi violinists, Chrystelle Carter and Matthew Anderlini, presenting
duets by j. w. Kalliwoda and c. De Beriot , composers of the romantic era.
Both Kalliwoda that de Bériot were violinists and regarded as the fathers of modern violin technique.
De Bériot is considered the founder of the Belgian violin school (his student h. Vieuxtemps) and the predecessor and teacher, of the great virtuoso e. Ysaye which were devoted much of romantic compositions of the repertoire.

Chrystelle Catalan, born in Padua in 1995. Graduated with honors under the guidance of g. Bailey at the Academy c. Pollini of Padua, has perfected with world-renowned masters such as: m. fourth and i. Grubert, which is currently a student at the Fondazione Musicale Santa Cecilia di Portogruaro.

It is winner of first prizes in national and international competitions: 2° Concorso Internazionale "Premio città di Padova", 2° Concorso Nazionale "Piove di Sacco", 2° Concorso Internazionale "Città di Treviso". Has been repeatedly named as a guest at important chamber music recitals including the "Galilean Academy" di Padova and Riviera Festival "sponsored by the city of Gongju in which he collaborated with the famous choreographer and dance teacher Sylvio Dufrayer and his company.

He has collaborated with orchestras such as theOrchestra da Camera Italiana (OCI), International Orchestra Institute Attergau, orchestra della Saccisica di Piove di Sacco, Porsche's Jazz orchestra and with the orchestra d'archi Estro Armonico in Padua where he held the role of violin and backing vocals.
In December 2011 debuted with the orchestra of the Academy c. Pollini of Padua by performing the Tchaikovsky concerto as soloist.
He has also taken part in 2012 to orchestral training "Orchestra Project" organized by the Società del Quartetto di Vicenza held the role of mentors and alongside l. and g. William Spierer.
Currently part of the workforce of the arches of the University Training Centre where he played first violin in a row and violin soloist.
By 2012 is a student of Salvatore Accardo which follows the annual master classes at the Walter Stauffer Academy of Cremona and the Accademia Chigiana.
In September 2013 was invited to join the orchestra giovanile di Uto Ughi with whom he has had the opportunity to perform as soloist within the Uto Ughi per Roma "festival.

Matthew Anderlini was founded in 1995 in Abano Terme, in the province of Padua.
Starts playing the violin at age six, studying privately with Anna Ferrato. Nine years enters the Conservatory of Padua under the guidance of Prof.ssa Serena Bakiev. He graduated at 18 years at the Conservatory of Padua.
It supported several musical competitions winning numerous awards, such as the 1° absolute award at the 11th national musical Competition Ortona (CH) in 2005, and, over the years, the 1° prize at the fifth National Competition for young musicians "Louis Zanuccoli" Sogliano sul Rubicone (FC), the 1° prize at the second National Piano and Violin Competition Citta di Bardolino (VR), the 1° prize at the tenth edition Musical Prize "Alberto Gori" Sarteano (SI) and the 1° prize at the 8th International contest Festival young musicians Deer. He honed his skill by participating in various courses, including the summer masterclass with famous masters Massimo Quarta, Sonig Tchakerian and Ilya Grubert.
