Anna Tifu and the Venetian Soloists in concert in Asiago

Friday 2 August 2019 appointment with great music at the Millepini Theatre of Asiago.

To perform in the exciting concert "VIOLINOMISTIC"will be the group of Venetian Soloists,directed by Claudio Scimone,with the extraodinaria participation of Anna Tifu on theviolin.

The talented musicians will give life to the most beautiful music of Vivaldi, Bach and Sarasate,in an interpretation that will give strong emotions to the audience present. There will also be a tribute to our mountains, with meditation for bows on Beppi DeMarzi's "Lordofthe Peaks".

The concert will begin at 21.00,at the Asian theatre.

Claudio Scimone and the Venetian Soloists

The spread of great music to a growing audience and the promotion of the musical repertoire among young people have always been priority targets of "TheVenetian Soloists"directed by Claudio Scimone. The success of this work is confirmed among other things by the exceptional result of the first prize in the "Festivalbar" with 350,000 votes of youth audience.
"The Venetian Soloists" were the first in Italy, since 1960 to perform numerous series of concerts in the schools with programs and presentations differentiated according to the individual degrees of education (elementary, lower secondary and higher, university, music schools).
For the young musicians they held and held, at the invitation of the local academies or institutions, collective "master classes", in which "The Soloists" also play together with orchestras of young people and students. So in Caracas (for the "System" of Jose Abreu), in european countries, in the USA, Canada, China and numerous other countries including Armenia Kenya, Oman etc.
In Veneto they also hold annual concerts in which they play with the very young between the ages of 7 and 14 of the Symphony Orchestra "The Thumbs".


ANNA TIFU

Winner of the prestigious George Enescu international competition in Bucharest in 2007, Anna Tifu is considered one of the best performers of her generation.

Born in Cagliari, she began studying the violin at the age of six under her father's guidance and played in public at the age of 8, winning the first prize with Special Mention of Merit at the Vittorio Veneto Review.
At the age of eleven he made his solo debut with the Orchestra National des Pays de la Loire and the following year, at the age of 12, he made his debut at La Scala in Milan with Max Bruch's Concerto No.1.
At the age of fourteen he won the 1st prize at the Viotti Valsesia International Competition and in the same year he won the 1st prize at the M.Abbado International Competition in Stresa. He graduated as a 15-year-old at the Cagliari Conservatory with the highest marks and the Honorable Mention.
He studied with Salvatore Accardo at the Walter Stauffer Academy in Cremona and later at the Chigiana Academy in Siena where, in 2004, he obtained the Diploma of Honor.
She was admitted, at the age of 17, to the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia where she studied with Aaron Rosand, Shmuel Ashkenazy and Pamela Frank and later perfected Paris where she obtained a master's degree as a Concertist.

She has performed with some of the most prestigious National and International Orchestras such as the National Orchestra of Santa Cecilia, National Orchestra of the RAI of Turin, Orchestra of the Arena Foundation of Verona, Orchestra of the Teatro Carlo Felice of Genoa, Philharmonic Orchestra Arturo Toscanini, Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento, Orchestra of the Teatro La Fenice of Venice, Simòn Bòlivar Orchestra of Venezuela, Stuttgarter Philarmoniker, Dortmunder Philharmoniker, George Enescu Philarmonic Orchestra and Radio Bucharest Orchestra, Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, Munich Chamber Orchestra, KZN Philharmonic of Durban, Israel Philharmonic soloists, Prague chamber Orchestra, Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra and alongside important conductors, among them Yuri Temirkanov, Gustavo Dudamel, Diego Matheuz, David Afkham, Juraj Valcuha, John Axelrod, Christoph Poppen, Justus Frantz, Cristian Mandeal, Horia Andreescu, Sergiu Commissiona, Li Jia, Giampaolo Bisanti, Julian Kovatchev, Hubert Soudant, Gèrard Korsten, Gabor.

Recent and future prestigious engagements include concerts at the George Enescu Festival in Bucharest with the RAI Orchestra in Turin and Juraj Valcuha, touring Russia, also with the RAI Orchestra, concert with Gustavo Dudamel and the Simòn Bòlivar Orchestra of Venezuela, inauguration of the Season in Genoa, Teatro Carlo Felice where, for the occasion, she performed with the famous violin Guarneri of Jesus called "IL CANNONE" belonged to Nicholas Paganini, inauguration in Venice, Teatro La Fenice with Diego Matheuz, inaugural concert of the Milan Concert Society Foundation Season where she is regularly invited, opening of the Season in Verona for the Friends of Music, concert at the Stradivari Festival in Cremona, where she performed in a show together with the Etoile Carla Fracci, concerts at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome together with Yuri Temirkanov and the Orchestra of the Academy of Santa Cecilia and the inauguration of the Season in Paris, with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Radio France, conducted by Mikko Franck.
His debut for Warner Classics, in duo with pianist Giuseppe Andaloro, was recently made.

He has collaborated with musicians such as Maxim Vengerov, Yuri Bashmet, Ezio Bosso, Julien Quentin, Giuseppe Andaloro, Pekka Kuusisto, Mario Brunello, Michael Nyman, Boris Andrianov, Etoile Carla Fracci, actor John Malkovich and Andrea Bocelli, who in 2011 invited Anna as a guest soloist in numerous concerts in Italy, Egypt and the United States.

She has given concerts to renowned festivals such as the Tuscan Sun Festival, Festival de Musique Menton, Ravello festival, Al Bustan in Beirut and the George Enescu festival where she is regularly invited, as well as at famous concert halls such as La Scala in Milan, Auditorium Rome's Music Park, Milan's Green Hall, St. Petersburg's Great Hall, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow, Konzerthaus in Dortmund, Konzerthaus in Berlin, Stuttgart's Beethoven-Saal, Venice's La Fenice Theatre, Prague's Rudolphinum Dvorak Hall, Athens and Hall Bucharest Palatului, Madison Square Garden in New York, Staples Center in Los Angeles, Simòn Bòlivar Auditorium in Caracas.

Anna Tifu was a spokesperson for Alitalia's 2011 advertising campaign, along with Riccardo Muti, Giuseppe Tornatore and Eleonora Abbagnato.

He plays the violin Antonio Stradivari "Marèchal Berthier" 1716 former Napoleon of the Canale Foundation in Milan.
